This Privacy Policy describes how Hailsom ("we", "us", or "our")
collects, uses, and protects information when you use the
Chameleon 2D mobile application (package
com.hailsom.chameleon2d) on Android and iOS.
Account information. You can play as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. For guests we create a player ID and store a device identifier generated by the app, plus your device platform and model. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive an account identifier and, if you allow it, your email address and name from that provider. We do not receive your password.
Gameplay information. Display name, username, avatar, XP, wins and losses, in-game coins and gems, owned and equipped cosmetics, match history, friends and friend requests, referrals, rewards, and challenge progress. This is stored on our servers so you can play online, appear on leaderboards, and keep your progress. Your username, display name, avatar and stats may be visible to other players.
Network information. Our servers receive and store your IP address when you create an account or connect, for security, abuse prevention and fair-play enforcement.
Purchases. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage entitlements. We store transaction identifiers and the items granted; we do not receive your payment card details.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service) and your device platform to send game notifications. You can turn categories off in Settings or disable notifications in your device settings.
Diagnostics and analytics. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (for example screens viewed and game events) and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and device and app version information so we can fix bugs.
Advertising. The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers and device information to serve and measure ads. Where required, we ask for your consent using Google's consent form, and on iOS the system App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, and you can limit ad personalization in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app: Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Sign-In), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications), RevenueCat, and our hosting provider. They process data under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. See how to delete your account, or email privacy@hailsom.com. After deletion we remove your player profile, progress, friends, notification tokens and match records. Anonymized purchase transaction identifiers may be kept to prevent duplicate redemption and for accounting and legal compliance. Crash and analytics data held by Google is deleted according to Firebase retention settings.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Chameleon 2D is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, and to withdraw consent. You can use the in-app controls above or contact us at privacy@hailsom.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
